Tata Aria Is High-Tech and Comfortable MUV

Tata Motors plans to launch its new product Tata Aria on October 11th 2010. Tata Aria is one of the cars recently exhibited in Delhi Auto Expo 2010 along with other two new cars. Tata Aria is the mixture of SUV and MUV. This new machine from Tata, features a 2.2L DICOR diesel engine that delivers the power of 140PS and 320 Nm of torque. This is the same engine that currently powers Tata Sumo Grande and Tata Safari in India. It is 4WD vehicle that features Anti-Lock Braking System, Automatic Climate Control, GPS Navigation System; all combined with latest safety features including 6 airbags.

Tata Aria brings together the luxury and finesse of a sedan and the muscle of an SUV at a commensurate price. It will set several benchmarks, with its design, technologies, comfort and safety. The model is expected to be priced around Rs. 10 lakh and above competing with models like Toyota Innova and Mahindra Scorpio. Tata Aria was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2006 where the concept model was unveiled. A team of over 150 individuals, comprising multi-discipline specialists from the Tata Motors Group and vendor- partners, worked on the project to create this segment- defining crossover.

The company has planned a massive online campaign including various digital and electronic media with a total planned spend of Rs. 1.5 crores. Tata Aria will be available in the major cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Calcutta, Hyderabad and other cities across India by the 2nd week of October 2010. The Interior look of this car is awesome. It has abundant headroom and legroom for all the passengers. On the other hand, legroom at third row is not enough but best fitted for skinny peoples. The seating capacity of the vehicle is 7 passengers and it is a five door crossover.

The Exterior look is very attractive and view from front gives you an aggressive looks. At very first look,Tata Aria seems like MUV or we can say similar to Toyota Innova but its large sporty wheels with muscular wheel arches adds SUV like effect. The Tata Aria’s designing is a never-before from Tata with its sharp and aggressive upper front grille and a bit Tata Indica Vista and Manza type looks. The front turn indicators are also placed at automatically adjustable Outside Rear View Mirrors. Indian car lovers are eagerly waiting to see the cars as well as to feel the car.
